Workforce Development Program

Picture
Building Pathways to Power & Purpose
At Ardella’s House, we believe that economic independence is essential to healing, stability, and dignity. Our Workforce Development Program equips justice-impacted women and men with the skills, tools, and confidence they need to secure family-sustaining employment — and thrive in today’s workforce.

This isn’t just job training. It’s a comprehensive, hands-on, and personalized program that helps people address the real-life barriers our people face — from trauma and technology gaps to childcare and transportation needs. Through workshops, one-on-one coaching, and partnerships with local businesses and training providers, we walk with each person as they build a new professional path.

Who Its For:
Women and men returning from incarceration, and other justice impacted Philadelphians, who are ready to pursue meaningful work and reclaim their financial freedom.

Why It Matters:
When a woman or man has a job they are proud of — one that supports him or her and their family — they don't just survive, they rise. Workforce development is a bridge to independence, and at Ardella’s House, we make sure no one has to cross it alone.
